Pope Francis Approves the Sainthood of "God Influencer" Teen

A 15-year-old web designer nicknamed 'God's Influencer' is the first millennial to be granted sainthood.

Pope Francis approving the sainthood of Carlo Acutis, an Italian teen who created a website tracking miracles before his 2006 death from leukemia.

Followers say they experienced miracles after praying to Acutis and making a pilgrimage his tomb.

Acutis's last words to his mother before succumbing to cancer, “Mom, don't be afraid. Since Jesus became a man, death has become the passage towards life, and we don't need to flee it. Let us prepare ourselves to experience something extraordinary in the eternal life.”
