Radar systems with the National Weather Service have suddenly stopped working, according to the National Weather Service.

NWS officials did tweet on X that they are aware of a “data issue” and that it is being investigated.

According to the NWS, "Problems receiving the NWR broadcast can be due to issues with the NWR transmitter, your NWR receiver, or possibly both."

Meanwhile, thunderstorms are moving across the Southeast to the Ohio Valley today, bringing the risk of tornadoes, high winds and damaging hail.

No word as of yet if the outage was caused by storms, a nationwide internet issue or a possible attack.
