Gov. Ron DeSantis dropped a plate on the floor during a news conference held at the Greek restaurant Santorini by Georgios Wednesday on Miami Beach.
Breaking the plate is part of a Greek tradition which is meant to bring good luck. "Opa!"
After smashing plates, DeSantis also predicted that Donald Trump will win Florida comfortably in November because since he became governor, Florida has turned cherry red.
He says Florida has seen a 1.1 million voter registration swing from Democrat to Republican since he became governor.
