The Life Time Miami Marathon will be run this Sunday morning with 18-thousand runners hitting the streets of South Florida.

In addition, there will be walkers, wheelchair athletes, and thousands cheering them on.

The race entry list is sold out and the waitlist closed for the event.

Race co-founder Frankie Ruiz says narrow streets and construction forced the field to be limited to 18 thousand participants.

Ruiz adds that the inclusive event features disabled runners crossing the same finish line as the elite athletes from 49 states and 75 countries.

He says, "The race is so inclusive that there is a prize purse for elite runners and for disabled athletes."

The course includes downtown, South Beach, and Coconut Grove.
