A popular convenience store getting some recognition.
A fossilized species of beaver discovered more than 80-years ago is being named after Buc-ee's, the popular chain of stores.
If you're unaware, the company's mascot is a beaver.
The fossils are part of a collection that was recently rediscovered by researchers at UT Austin.
The partial beaver skull was originally discovered in 1941, and a museum curator died before he could officially name the new species.
They've named the species "A. buceei."
