Actor Alex Baldwin is facing criticism after he went on Instagram to send his best wishes to Anne Heche after she crashed her car into a home in west Los Angeles and suffered serious injuries.
Along with asking for support, he said, “I’m sorry that you had this tragic thing happen to you, and I’m sending you all my love, OK?”
The LAPD is looking into weather Heche was involved in a hit and run before the fiery crash.
Detectives also looking into whether Heche had been drinking or on drugs at the time.
Heche was taken to a hospital with critical injuries Friday after her Mini Cooper went up in flames. She's now listed in stable condition.
The 53-year-old actress has appeared in movies such as "Wag the Dog," "Donnie Brasco" and "Return to Paradise."
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
No other injuries were reported.
