A 13-year-old girl is recovering in California after her hand became trapped in the railing of an escalator at a local mall.
It took crews over an hour to free the girl's after her hand got stuck in the mechanism at the MainPlace Mall in Santa Ana.
Crews freed the teen by taking apart the escalator.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment ... no word on how she's doing.
