Tourist Destinations Say They're Overwhelmed By Crowds

Some of the world's most popular tourist destinations say they can't handle the crowds anymore.

Residents in city's like Venice say the annual invasion by summer tourists isn't letting up and massive cruise ships are ruining their way of life. They say there is no "off season" anymore, and the crowds are changing their city.

The Belgian city of Bruges is banning big cruise liners and Paris won't let tour buses into some neighborhoods.

International travel has been growing steadily, but took off with the rise of the middle class in China and their desire to go overseas.

Reuters takes a look at the issue with their story here.
