High School Principal Fat Shames Legging Wearing Kids

A South Carolina high school principal is in hot water after saying that leggings make girls over size two look fat.

Principal Heather Taylor of Stratford High School in Goose Creek said she didn't mean to hurt or offend anyone with her remarks.

She made the comment while talking to female students about the proper way to dress, and it quickly spread on social media.

Parents expressed outrage on the high school's Facebook page, accusing the principal of body-shaming.

Principal Taylor released a statement Thursday saying she met with each class of the student body and has received their support.
