Thousands of Floridians are gathering together in Orlando Thursday to honor slain Kissimmee Police Sergeant Sam Howard and Officer Matthew Baxter during a joint funeral procession.
Officers from across the state, fellow fellow Tampa-area officers, family, friends and politicians are in attendance.
The funeral also open to the public and city offices have been closed so that municipal employees can attend.
Everett Glenn Miller is charged with murdering the officers during a confrontation last Friday.
