Sunday's Animal Planet Puppy Bowl features two rescues from Miami.
Miami-Dade Animal Services will be hosting a "tail"-gate watch party to cheer on Payton and Thomas from noon to 4 p.m. at the Pet Adoption and Protection Center in Doral.
Officials say the Puppy Bowl includes 131 pup participants from 73 shelters and rescues across 36 states and territories (including Miami) as they represent Team Ruff or Team Fluff.
The winning team takes home the "Lombarky" trophy.
