Former Republican North Carolina Congressman Madison Cawthorn was allegedly involved in a car crash with a Florida Highway Patrol Trooper on I-75 Monday.

A woman who said the former Congressman was relentlessly tailgating her posted a video of the crash scene.

Cawthorn is seen in his wheelchair on the side of the road speaking to the FHP trooper just a few feet away from the crumpled hood of his luxury Mercedes.

The FHP accident report stated that the trooper involved in the accident “sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital.”

Cawthorn appeared to be unhurt and was cited for violating the state’s so-called Move Over Law.
