The City of Palm Beach Gardens has passed a resolution refusing a plan by Palm Beach County to extend Seminole Pratt Whitney Road to Avenir Drive, over concerns about traffic and safety in the community where nearly 4,000 homes will be built.
At last night's City Council meeting, residents and city leaders voiced their concerns.
The county issued a statement saying that there was a misunderstanding and officials will work with the city on a solution to address traffic concerns in the area without compromising the safety of residents.
