Miami Beach Launches Its Spring Break Safety Social Media Campaign

Miami Beach is taking a preemptive strike against spring break chaos with a new social media campaign called the "Spring Break Reality Check". Commissioner Alex Fernandez says it's centered on a fake reality show where people come to party but pay the price when they're caught by police. Beginning next month, the city is beefing up its police presence, issuing curfews and 100-dolllar parking fees plus security and DUI checkpoints.
