It's been learned that five illegal immigrants have been taken into custody outside a Home Depot on Lake Worth Road.
Police say ICE agents happened to already be in the area looking around while Palm Springs Police officers had been carrying out a trespassing operation.
"We have been doing it over the years at the request of the business and the community. We try to do it monthly if not quarterly."
Katelyn Niskanen with the Palm Springs Police Department says the feds asked police officers to help them locate several people.
She tells CBS 12 News that the Department of Homeland Security oversees ICE raids so police have no information about the people taken into custody.
