Miami-Dade's Sheriff Has Warning For ATV Drivers Ahead Of MLK Holiday

The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office warning ATV drivers about illegal street takeovers ahead of the Martin Luther King Jr holiday. Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz says they have zero tolerance for anyone nabbed recklessly driving or blocking the flow of traffic. Last year, they logged 69 arrests for illegal street action, issued 69 citations and impounded 83 vehicles. A new state law took effect last July saying anyone involved in a street takeover of ten or more cars can face felony charges.
