Beverly Hills, FL - A motorcyclist dressed as Santa Claus led Florida police on a dramatic high-speed chase through Beverly Hills, reaching speeds of up to 120 mph before successfully evading capture.

The incident occurred on December 23, just days before Christmas, and was captured on dashcam footage from the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to police reports, the chase began when an officer attempted to stop the motorcyclist for a traffic violation.

Instead of complying, the suspect sped off, maneuvering dangerously through traffic.

The video shows the motorcyclist, wearing a full Santa Claus costume, weaving between vehicles and cutting through a gas station parking lot in an effort to lose the pursuing officer.

The suspect was riding a distinctive white motorcycle with blue trim, which authorities hope will assist in identifying the individual.

Despite the officer's best efforts to keep up, the motorcyclist's speed and quick maneuvers allowed them to escape.

Florida Highway Patrol officials are now seeking the public's assistance in identifying the motorcyclist.

Authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward, emphasizing that reckless driving at such high speeds poses a significant danger to public safety.

This incident adds to the list of unusual events during the holiday season, with many jokingly referring to the motorcyclist as a "rebel Santa" for their daring escape.

However, law enforcement officials are taking the matter seriously and are determined to locate the individual responsible.
