Miami Beach, FL - A man was arrested after allegedly recording a mother and her 10-year-old daughter inside a Forever 21 dressing room on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach.
According to Miami Beach Police, the incident occurred Saturday afternoon at the Forever 21 store located at 701 Lincoln Road.
Investigators said the victims noticed a cellphone on the floor between their stall and the adjacent one, with the camera lens facing upward.
The mother observed the person in the neighboring stall reposition the phone on top of a pile of clothes.
When she and her daughter exited the dressing room, the mother grabbed the cellphone and discovered it had been recording video of them.
When confronted, the suspect, identified as 31-year-old Luca DiMichele, denied the accusations and asked for his phone back.
The mother refused, keeping the phone while she sought assistance from a store manager.
She explained the situation to the manager and stopped the video recording.
DiMichele remained at the store until police arrived and took him into custody.
He was charged with video voyeurism and is being held on a $2,500 bond.
