Florida Tire Shop Employee Allegedly Shoots Customer During Dispute

Miami-Dade, FL - A dispute at a southwest Miami-Dade tire shop escalated into gunfire Monday, leaving one customer injured.

According to Miami-Dade Police, the incident occurred at a tire shop at 2090 SW 67th Avenue after two customers began arguing with an employee over work being done on a vehicle.

The argument turned physical, prompting the employee to draw a firearm and shoot at the customers, hitting one in the leg.

The injured customer was transported to Ryder Trauma Center and is reported to be in stable condition.

The employee, who sustained a laceration during the altercation, was detained and is being interviewed by detectives.

Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances or any potential charges.

This incident remains under investigation as police work to determine the events leading to the shooting.
