President-Elect Trump Could Boost Florida Politicians

Florida politicians could be getting a big boost in power as President-elect Donald Trump is sworn in. Barry University's Sean Foreman says there are rumors Marco Rubio is being tapped as the next Secretary of State which means he'll have to resign from his senate seat. After that, there would be a special election in 2026 to fill out the remainder of his term. There's also word Rick Scott is a finalist for Senate majority leader and Congressman Mike Waltz is on the short list for Secretary of Defense. Trump is the first resident of Florida to be elected president.
