Jensen Beach, FL - A chaotic incident unfolded at Tako Tiki restaurant in Jensen Beach on Saturday when a golf cart crashed into the dining area, injuring multiple people.

Surveillance footage captured the golf cart maneuvering up a ramp and colliding with tables, sending patrons scrambling.

The crash left several people injured, including one woman who suffered a fractured pelvis.

Investigators from the Martin County Sheriff's Office determined that an employee from the Ocean Breeze Resort had driven the golf cart to Tako Tiki.

However, a woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, was operating the cart at the time of the crash.

She claimed to have difficulty controlling the vehicle and accidentally drove it into the restaurant.

Despite initial concerns about alcohol involvement, investigators ruled out intoxication as a factor in the incident.

The crash has left the community shaken and highlighted the potential dangers of operating golf carts responsibly.

Authorities are urging residents to exercise caution when driving golf carts and to always adhere to safety regulations.
