Ft. Lauderdale's State of the City, postponed for bad weather, is taking place tonight. Mayor Dean Trantalis says he's discussing everything going on in the city from transportation projects to individual neighborhood enhancements. He says the city has taken Florida's new homeless law a step further to ensure they're protected against lawsuits. So instead of banning encampments after sundown, the city has an ordinance banning them 24/7. The State of the City begins at 7 tonight at The Parker.
