Change Of Plea For Man Shot Multiple Times By Miami Police

A man shot multiple times by Miami police is pleading guilty to violating probation for having drugs in his system when he was hit by six bullets last March. Attorney Larry Handfield says Donald Armstrong is charged with a single count misdemeanor of resisting arrest. Armstrong remains in a residential drug treatment program and will not face jail time. Handfield says he wasn't armed when he was tased three times before being shot at nine times. He has filed a civil suit against police for excessive use of force.
