Shohei Ohtani's Historic 50-50 Club Ball Hit in Miami Goes Up for Auction

Shohei Ohtani's historic 50-50 club home run baseball (50 home runs 50 stolen bases) is headed for auction tomorrow.

The fan who caught the ball at Miami's loanDepot Park last week has turned down a huge payout from the Dodgers of $300,000 and consigned the ball to the collectibles marketplace Goldin.

Starting bid...a half million with an option to buy the ball outright at $4.5 million.

Mark McGwire's 70th home run ball from 1998 sold for a record $3 million in 1999.
