An afternoon of rough weather in St. Lucie County yesterday caused flooding that led to six kids having to be removed from a school bus.
The bus got stuck in water along California Avenue in Port St. Lucie. The school district says the kids were placed on another bus to continue their trip home.
Port St. Lucie Police also reported cars stopping as they approached flash flooding areas along Port St. Lucie Boulevard. Flooding may continue to be an issue today and potentially through the weekend.
