Miami, FL - Publix Super Markets Charities has made a significant contribution to hunger relief efforts in the Southeast by donating $11 million to over 300 local food banks and nonprofits.

The donation, part of Publix Serves Week, will support various initiatives such as food pantries, meal delivery programs, and weekend backpack programs.

Additionally, funds will be used to purchase 15 vehicles for food distribution.

Publix Super Markets President John Goff presented a check for $30,000 to Camillus House, a local organization serving Miami's homeless population.

The donation will help Camillus House provide essential food and resources to those in need.

Since 2015, Publix Charities has raised over $63 million for hunger relief efforts.

Over 7,000 Publix employees are volunteering their time to support various nonprofit organizations during Publix Serves Week.

In addition to donations, Publix has expanded its Good Together campaigns, encouraging customers to donate food and funds to local food banks.

Since 2020, the company has donated over 100 million pounds of produce through these campaigns.
