Miami-Dade, FL - A recent poll conducted in Miami-Dade County reveals a surprising tie between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.

The poll, commissioned by Miami-Dade County Commissioner Kevin Cabrera, shows Trump and Harris tied with 47% support each.

Only 6% of likely voters remain undecided.

The results suggests that Miami-Dade, traditionally a Democratic stronghold, may no longer be a guaranteed win for the party.

The survey also indicates a slight lead for Republican Senator Rick Scott over his Democratic challenger Debbie Mucarsel-Powell in the U.S. Senate race.

The findings reflect a potential shift in the political landscape of Florida’s largest county, where both races are now considered toss-ups.

Cabrera's poll highlights Trump's growing appeal among unaffiliated voters, with 49% favoring Trump compared to 41% for Harris.

This is in stark contrast to another recent poll by Democratic strategist Christian Ulvert, which had shown Harris leading by 14 percentage points.

The poll’s margin of error is +/- 4.5 percentage points, and it sampled 500 likely voters from various political affiliations.

If the trend continues, it could signify a substantial shift in Miami-Dade’s political alignment, potentially making Trump the first Republican to carry the county since 1988.
