Fort Myers, FL - Police are searching for three women who reportedly stole 21 Stanley cups from a Fort Myers Dick's Sporting Goods store on Tuesday.

According to Crime Stoppers, the women entered the Dick's Sporting Goods store on South Cleveland Avenue and filled two Bogg bags with the popular insulated cups, valued at approximately $915.

Crime Stoppers Manager Trish Routte tells NBC 2 News "there's a high demand for Stanley cups, and this could be part of a larger theft ring operating in the area."

Routte expressed concerns that one of the women brought a child along during the theft.

"It's disheartening that anyone would involve a child in criminal activity," Routte told NBC 2 News.

The women are believed to have fled the scene in a blue Toyota.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects is urged to contact Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
