Police precincts across South Florida celebrating National Night Out. Miami Police Officer Michael Vega says the goal is to create a positive relationship between neighbors and law enforcement. He says communities stay safer when there's a bond between people and police. National Night Out started in 1984 with some 2-million people across hundreds of communities and has evolved into a campaign with 38-million people in thousands of neighborhoods across the country.
