The NTSB is investigating after a small plane crashed into a lake.
Two men are dead after the aircraft they were in veered off the runway at the North Palm Beach County Airport and into the water.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Captain Tom Reyes says the Sheriff's Office helicopter spotted the plane under the water first, making for a quicker recovery.
He says the pilot was trying to land at the small airport around 2 p.m. on Wednesday when the accident occurred.
The two people inside were pulled out of the wreckage and taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.
We're told the plane broke into at least two pieces.
