Florida Ups The Ante For Coral Reef Conservation In The Keys

Coral Reef Conservation top of mind in the Florida Keys. Governor Ron DeSantis announcing he's distributing an additional 5-million-dollars on top of the 10 million already added for artificial reefs from the state budget. He says there are now more than 43-hundred planned, public artificial reefs placed in state and federal waters off Florida's coast. Scientists say the reefs reduce stress on the fragile marine ecosystem by preserving fish populations and other marine resources as natural reef systems continue to collapse.
