Peeping Tom Stabbed After Watching Florida Woman Urinate Behind Park Bench

Broward County, FL - The Broward Sheriff's Office arrested a 55-year-old man on an attempted murder charge following a stabbing incident at a South Florida bus bench on Monday.

The incident occurred near the 2700 block of West Sunrise Boulevard when the suspect, identified as Morally Watson, was allegedly caught watching a 56-year-old woman urinate behind a bus bench.

The woman's 69-year-old husband intervened, confronting Watson and instructing him to leave.

According to the arrest report, Watson threatened to return with a weapon and reportedly came back armed with a machete.

The victim, in an attempt to defend himself, grabbed a small tool and bug spray.

Watson then allegedly lunged at the man, swung the machete at his head, and inflicting two stab wounds to his hand as the victim tried to shield himself.

A BSO detective noted in the report, "If [the victim] did not protect his head, Morally's strikes could have resulted in [his] death."

Deputies arrived at the scene and applied a tourniquet to control the victim's significant bleeding.

Watson was apprehended following an investigation.

He is currently being held without bond at the BSO Main Jail.
