Private High-Speed Rail Service Brightline Announces Its Service To Start Next Week

There was a non-fatal Brightline train crash in Delray Beach this morning.

It happened around 5:30 a.m. at George Bush Boulevard and Northeast 5th Avenue when a southbound train collided with a car.

Police say the driver of the car was on the tracks when the crossing gates went down.

There were no injuries.

Law enforcement and the high-speed rail line warn against drivers attempting to beat the train.
