A teenager is in custody for a shooting that killed another teen in Miami-Dade County. It happened Saturday in Florida City near Northwest 13th Street and Fifth Ave.
Police arrested Jeron Smith, 18, and they say he confessed. He's charged with second-degree murder. Investigators say the shooting was unprovoked.
Relatives tell Local 10 News the victim was Homestead Middle School student Damarion Bailey,15.
