The Palm Beach County School Board has approved a plan to have two former high-ranking school employees who were once charged with a crime working again.

Darren Edgecomb was the principal at Palm Beach Central High and Daniel Snider was an assistant principal when they and three other staffers were charged with failure to report abuse.

The alleged sexual assault happened off-campus between two students at the school, but by law they were required to report it to DCF. Charges against all five were dropped.

Starting next month, Edgecomb will oversee the Department of Charter Schools. Snider is being reassigned as the new assistant principal at Royal Palm Beach High School.
