Man Accused of Robbing Victim at Girlfriend's East Naples Hotel Room

Collier County, FL - A man is facing charges after allegedly robbing another man of hundreds of dollars inside his girlfriend's Southwest Florida hotel room.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, the robbery began when the victim met a woman at Rusty's, a restaurant and bar on Immokalee Road in Naples.

The two exchanged numbers and later arranged to meet at Conty's Motel on US-41 near Naples Manor around 4 a.m.

The arrest report states that shortly after the victim entered the motel room, a man identified as 27-year-old Jason Wall entered the hotel room and began threatening the victim.

Wall claimed the woman was his girlfriend and took all the cash from the victim's wallet.

Wall then reached for his waistband, causing the victim to believe he was armed.

The victim immediately went to the front office and called 911.

Responding deputies searched the motel room and found the exact amount of cash as reported by the victim.

Wall was charged with one count of armed robbery with a firearm.
