Heavy Rainfall Expected Across South Florida Through Saturday

Preemptive strikes against flooding being taken as heavy rain is forecasted across South Florida for the next several days. South Florida Water Management District's Randy Smith says they're adjusting water levels in local canals. He says they're also prepared to operate their pumping stations 'round the clock. The National Weather Service says five-to-ten inches with up to a foot of rain is possible through Saturday.
