Today marks the last day of school in Broward. The academic year began with Superintendent Peter Licata and ended with the appointment of Dr. Howard Hepburn to the position. Along with discussing that plan which could lead to some school closings, Dr. Hepburn says his administration is laser-focused on achieving an "A" rating next year. The first day back will be August 12th. Broward has an earlier end date next year of June 3rd.
