11-Year Old Arrested For Bomb Threat At Vero Beach School

School Threat - West Palm Beach

A sixth grade student is under arrest for writing a note that there was a bomb at Storm Grove Middle School in Vero Beach.

The Indian River County Sheriff's Office says deputies arrested the 11-year old girl for writing the suspicious note that was found by another student on Wednesday. That sent the school into a 90 minute shelter-in-place lockdown.

Deputies say the girl admitted to writing the note and faces a charge of one count of written threats to kill. That's a second degree felony.
