Titusville, FL - A man has been charged with battery and theft after he fought a person that he claimed broke into his house and had sex with his girlfriend.
According to police, the 43-year-old suspect chased and fought the alleged victim, claiming he had broken into his home weeks prior.
The victim denied the accusation and stated the suspect initiated the fight.
Adding to the confusion, the suspect claimed the victim "swung" on him first, yet police say the victim witnessed the suspect exiting his own home before the altercation.
During the struggle, the victim reportedly injured his knee and the suspect took his hat, refusing to return it to officers.
The suspect was arrested but later released on bond.
The details surrounding the alleged infidelity remain unclear.
