Broward County Transit and the Florida Department of Transportation hosting a public meeting in Hollywood tonight over the proposed Broward Commuter Rail line. Project manager Phil Schwab says they will discuss the impacts of the environmental study being conducted now. The rail line goes from Aventura up to South Ft. Lauderdale with stations at the airport, 17th Street and just north of Hollywood Boulevard. The goal is to extend service from the planned commuter rail from downtown Miami to Aventura.
