Man Arrested for Alleged Video Voyeurism at Target Store

Osceola County, FL - A 27-year-old man was arrested in Osceola County for video voyeurism after allegedly following a 12-year-old girl inside a Target store and taking inappropriate pictures of her.

Authorities say Daniel Mora has been arrested for allegedly following a 12-year-old girl inside a Target store in Kissimmee and taking pictures of her.

The Osceola County Sheriff's Office reported the incident after the girl noticed a camera flash and informed her mother.

Mora is charged with video voyeurism and is currently being held without bond.

During questioning, he admitted to taking the photograph for pleasure and expressed embarrassment.

The incident was reported when the girl, while tying her shoelaces, noticed the flash.

She immediately informed her mother, who then reported it to store security.

Deputies were able to identify and locate Mora using surveillance footage from the store.

Authorities found additional pictures and videos of girls taken secretly in stores on Mora's phone.

Surveillance footage also showed Mora squatting and taking pictures of the young girl.

During a search of Mora's home, deputies found a flash drive containing 100 images and videos of child sexual abuse material.

Former Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolón advised parents to be more vigilant when out in public with their children.

He suggested educating children about potential dangers and encouraging them to be aware of unusual behavior.

"You should always accompany the child, but these are things that sound simple, and unfortunately, I don't think we have these conversations with children as much as we should," Rolón said.
