Man Arrested After Allegedly Stealing Roommate's Truck and Pants

Palm Coast, FL - A Palm Coast man was arrested after his roommate's truck and a pair of pants containing keys and cash were found in his possession.

Authorities say 59-year-old Frank Wayne was arrested in Palm Coast on charges of grand theft auto and petit theft.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of stolen property on Boxwood Lane.

A resident reported his blue Ford F-150 truck missing since the previous Wednesday.

He told deputies he believed his roommate, Wayne, might have taken the truck without permission, but that he initially thought it would be returned.

Another resident of the same house also reported a stolen item: a pair of pants containing their keys and wallet with $120 in cash.

Deputies later located the missing truck in Bunnell with Wayne behind the wheel.

A search of the vehicle revealed the stolen pants, wallet, and keys inside.

Wayne was arrested and is currently being held at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on a $5,500 bond.

The motive behind Wayne's actions remains unclear.
