Man Attempts to Smuggle Snakes Through Miami International Airport

Miami-Dade, FL - Miami-Dade authorities stopped a man at MIA after TSA agents found him trying to smuggle snakes in his pants.

Miami-Dade County authorities apprehended a man at Miami International Airport (MIA) last Friday after Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents discovered several snakes concealed in his pants.

Details on the exact number and species of the snakes were not immediately available.

However, TSA officials confirmed the snakes were small and pink.

"TSA officers are highly trained in detecting unusual items during the screening process," said a TSA spokesperson. "This incident highlights their vigilance in keeping travelers safe."

Following the discovery, TSA contacted U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Miami-Dade police.

The snakes were then transferred to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) for proper handling and disposition.

It is currently unknown if the man will face any charges.
