Alligator Removed From Under Plane Tire at Florida Air Force Base

Tampa, FL - A large alligator caused a scene at MacDill Air Force Base on Monday after the reptile was spotted under the wheel of a refueling aircraft.

According to reports, the reptile was spotted near a KC-135 refueling aircraft stationed on the runway.

Officials at the base contacted the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Wildlife officers captured the alligator and released it back into the Hillsborough River, its natural habitat.
