McDonald's Worker Arrested for Attacking Customers During Drive-Thru Fight

Key Largo, FL - A McDonald's worker in Key Largo is accused of threatening customers, grabbing a phone, and faces felony charges after a drive-thru argument.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office (MCSO), 19-year-old Emmonie Lashawn King of Homestead became involved in a dispute over wait times.

King claims she informed the customers, from Aventura, about staffing limitations but they became agitated.

She alleges they flipped her off and a passenger struck her with a car door, prompting her to slap a phone out of their hands.

However, customer video reportedly contradicts this account.

The footage allegedly shows King approaching the car, threatening the occupants, and forcibly holding a door open to gain entry.

The video then depicts a struggle as King snatches a phone from a passenger before walking away.

MCSO arrested King on charges of burglary with assault or battery (twice) and robbery by sudden snatching.

She was released on a $20,000 bond on Sunday evening.
