A toddler has died after an apparent drowning in Margate.
Margate Police and Fire Rescue units responded to a distress call along the 100 block of Northwest 79th Avenue. First responders performed CPR on the boy,2, before paramedics showed up and took him to Broward Health Coral Springs where he was pronounced dead.
The child's name has not been released. Police report that no charges are being filed at this time, as they continue to investigate.
