Vice President To Visit Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School

Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Parkland today touring the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School campus before the 12-hundred building is demolished this summer. Gun control activist and father Fred Guttenberg says the building is still and intact crime scene and he wants Harris to see how the design of the school played a role in making the massacre worse. He will then show the Vice President the new building with enhanced safety measures like bullet proof glass, recessed windows and self-locking doors. Harris will also attend a roundtable with families who lost loved ones in the 2018 mass shooting.
