A search is underway to find a young porch pirate in Miami and the woman who encouraged him. Miami Police say a woman shared with them video of a boy stealing a package from her home in Silver Bluff on Monday.
She estimates the boy's about six-years-old, and it appears the woman he was with told him to steal the package. Miami Police spokesman Mike Vega said, "I have never seen a crime where they are doing this. Porch pirates are all over doing this. But using a child, this is the first time I have seen this. It is heartbreaking that a child is doing this crime. Why would you have a child do this at such an early age."
The homeowner shared the Ring cam video.
