Lake Worth, FL - A 64-year-old man tragically died on Monday afternoon after being run over by his own truck.
The incident occurred around 1:00 PM on the 3200 block of Buccaneer Road in Lake Worth.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, Dwayne Kenneth Musselman was using his Chevy Silverado to remove a large stump from his property.
Unfortunately, the truck was not securely parked, and as he stood outside the driver's side door, it began to roll backward down a hill with the door open.
Tragically, the open door swung back and knocked Musselman to the ground.
He was then run over by the front of his own truck.
Emergency responders were called to the scene, but it was too late, as Musselman was pronounced dead at 1:02 PM.
